Someone I loved with my whole heart used to be so frustrated because they simply could not understand the Bible….

What made it even more difficult was that when someone does not understand the Bible, they often begin to believe it is not fully accurate or even real. When the Bible is not alive to someone, it can start to feel like a fairytale or make believe and in a lot of cases just another book rather than a true belief system.

That realization broke my heart…

See… The Bible took an incredible journey just to become accessible. It was translated from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Arabic into English so that understanding could reach people like us. Yet I began to see that many people still struggle, not because they are unwilling, but because old English is not their native language or natural tongue.

And when scripture remains locked behind thous… thees…and intimidating language, the message can feel distant, even though God is not.

That is why I created Trap Bible Stories. Not to make a mockery of scripture. Not to water down the Word. But to give people perspective. To make the Bible feel accessible, just as so many before me have done. My goal has always been to bring biblical passages to life in a way that removes barriers and allows people to clearly hear what Scripture has always said.

Every Trap Bible Story preserves the meaning, the scripture, and the moral truth of the Bible. What changes is the delivery. Through urban storytelling, I share the Bible in a way that to many feels familiar, relatable, and alive, while always encouraging people to go back and read the scripture for themselves.

Trap Bible Stories is what it looks like to leave the 99 for the 1. It exists through books, Facebook posts, public speaking, and animated digital content across platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. I tell the Bible as it is… the same Word, the same truth… just told well… differently.
